A couple for a stormy dance

Two of my wooden practice Swords. Originally a friend of mine wanted a katana-style Blade with a good guard so I made the weapon below. It is called "Stormdancer", a well balanced 110cm "longsword". For this type this is rather short but it compensates with nimbleness.

Because I am a really bad guy according to the same friend I had to made another weapon in this style. "Stormorphan" is a 45cm long parry-dagger which would be a effective weapon for duels with it's big brother.

Both are made from hazelnut for a good balance of weight and hardness. The blades have a coal-coating, mostly for the design.
